The Tide of Qjantang River
The tide of Qiantang River is famous in the world.The 18th day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar(阴历)is the tide day.
On that day,crowds of people wait for the tide.They are looking forward to watching the tide,At about one o'clock in the afternoon,there is loud sound,like rolling thunder(滚流雷声),The river is in **ooth,But soon,the sound is louder and louder,A white line appears and moves from distance.The tide is getting closer,like thousands of white horses.It sounds like that mountains fall.It takes a long time for Qiantang River to recover.
