……that用太多了，我都看晕了，半天才明白过来。

首先，咱们来精简这句话：Surely it should be obvious to the dimmest executive，这段很长，容易分散注意力，咱们把它用“甲is乙”代替。那这后头的that，很明显，就该是对“甲is乙”的具体内容进行说明，这个说明起于trust前面那个that，从这儿起是从句，咱们往下看：trust，这是从句的主语，完了怎样的trust呢？是一种“most valuable of economic assets”,即“经济资产中最有价值的环节”，这样的“trust”——剩下就很容易理解了：是极易毁灭，也极难重建的，代价很大。

分析过后，咱们从新组织，翻译这句话：对那些最不精明的执行者来说，这一点应当很明显，即信任，这一经济资产中最有价值的环节，是极易毁灭也极难重建的。

这句里最绕人的当属第二个that了，其实，如果咱们写，那里通常会用“the”，可是他为了加重语气，用了“that”，这就极易误导咱们，以为它跟头里那个that一样，是从句起始词，还以为是从句套从句。其实不是。
