但taxation本身也指税收这个社会制度

英语中有很多单词，自己既是名词也是动词，但是依然可以动词名词化

tion是名词后缀之一，比较常见

请问tax与taxation有什么分别？

我觉得taxation更加倾向于名词，单指税制，不可数，例如：one principle of taxation.

而tax,名词，表示各种税种，更加具体，复数形式为taxes。
