As a junior high school student, I always find it challenging to improve my oral English skills. However, with some effective methods, I have made significant progress in recent years.

Firstly, I believe that listening is the key to speaking. I try to listen to English news, songs, and movies every day. This not only helps me to improve my listening skills, but also enriches my vocabulary and sentence patterns.
Secondly, I try to speak English as much as possible. Whenever I have the chance, I will talk to my English teacher, foreign friends, or even myself in English. This not only helps me to overcome my shyness and fear of speaking, but also trains my mouth and tongue to speak English fluently.
Thirdly, I practice pronunciation and intonation regularly. I record myself speaking and listen to the playback carefully. I also pay attention to the stress and rhythm of English words and sentences.
