一、文章结构
英语写作和汉语写作一样，要写出好文章除了要有好的内容外还少不了好的结构，而结构的好坏又取决于选词造句。
1．切合主题
写作都有固定的主题，最忌讳的就是跑题。因此，一定要确保文章的内容与主题一致，否则再好的文章也是失败之作。
2．措词
在写作时要选择准确、生动而形象的词，要有意识地使用俗语、成语等，这样可避免语言的单调贫乏，令文章生动而富有内涵。

二、语法
