读《死亡诗社》有感

往大了说，《死亡诗社》要给我们展现的是一群叛逆的青年，在残酷的束缚中追求自我解放和精神自由的故事。他们的父母都为他们安排好了完美的人生，去常青籐学习，经赖成为一个成功的**家、医生或者生意人。但是，孩子们有自己的理想和追求，有喜欢的女生，也有为之奋斗的事业。冲突的中心围绕着Mr. Keating，他的教学手段和对孩子们产生的影响。关于这个问题，无非有下面几方面的因素：

首先，是学校。小说里的学校是一个坐落在对封闭的山谷里面的非常有名的预科班性质的学校，其学员的75%能够进入长青籐的学校学习，也涌现了大量的人才。学校的教学风格严谨得有些苛刻。其实这是可以理解的。毕竟学校已经名声在外，当然会对学生严格要求，保证教学的质量，不辜负每一个学生和家长的希望。从这种意义来说，学校的严格要求无可厚非。对于教师，学校也很苛刻。诸如Mr. Keating的'那种教学风格，虽然在我们看来新颖有趣，生动活泼，但如果在全校普遍推广就会导致混乱(详因后述)。因此，学校要求教师教学风格与学校的教育理念保持一致，也是理所应当。

第二，Mr. Keating。这家伙早就是Dead Poets Society的骨干成员，Seize the time是他的信条。他也把这一信条带给了他的几个学生。他说的话句句在理，句句深刻。他让学生们认识到了，生命的短暂和渺小，统一和和谐对个性的摧残，因此应该抓紧时间，做自己想做的事情。他要学生从不同的角度看问题，他要学生根据自己的想法写作诗篇，他叫学生辩证批判的看待课本上的文章，。说得简单点，Mr. Keating就是“素质教育”的理想状态，而在这种理想状态下培养出来的是一个活生生的有梦想，有热情的人。

但是，理想状态永远不可能在现实中存在。还不说全校推广，就在Mr. Keating的一个班里面就出现了本不该发生的事情。学生有个性，但是学生是叛逆的，是武断的，是幼稚的，是冲动的。从新的Society聚会就可以看出苗头。Mr. Keating的失败在于过于追求素质教育，而忽略了纪律和约束对学生的进步意义。

第叁方面就是家长。从书中来看，即便是欧美国家的家长，也在为孩子的好前程奔波劳累。Neil的父亲为了让他成为一名医生，想尽一切办法，在家里不富裕的情况下，也要把Neil送到这所着名的学校。可以说，这一点中外家长都是一样的。往往家长会把在自己身上未曾实现的理想和愿望加在孩子身上，希望他们有所作为，或者家长往往希望孩子能够子承父业，把自己的劳动成果继承和发展下去。这些塬因虽然可以理解，但是问题在于，这样做实际并不是在关心和培养下一代，而是在牺牲孩子的未来，以满足自己的理想需求，是有些自私的成分在里面的。这种情况，虽然大部分时候都能得随心所愿，但是随着社会的开放，意识的更新，会变得越来越难。Neil的**在某种情况下是必然结果，因为如果在生活中找不到乐趣，身死和心死并没有多大的区别。

最后就是关于学生。一般来讲，学生的年龄决定学生的认知层次。在书中所描述的那一阶段，学生确实存在叛逆性，并且对现实世界充满了好奇。他们大胆却往往不计后果，他们常常追求一些虚无缥渺的或者不切实际的东西。正确的引导是应当的。问题在于哪类引导是正确的引导，是学院式的，还是家长式的，还是Mr. Keating式的?

也许有一条比较中庸的路可以走，也许没有，因为教育教学方式并不是那种放之四海而皆准的东西。所以，书中没有回答这个问题。确实如此，教育教学改革中可能有很多的问题与无奈，很多尝试与失败。不过目前的中国教育界，好象还没时间关心这个……
