这个问题我会，虽然本人英语口语不是很好，但是对英语四六级词汇还是很熟悉的~给大家总结了一个表格可以先粗略看一下：
【含义解释】

2、another英 [ə'nʌðə(r)] 美 [ə'nʌðər]

pron. 另一个；类似的一个；别的
相同点：都可以表示"另一个"
不同点：other侧重于已知的另一个，another是随意的同类中另一个。
【用法区别】
other用在the或形容词性物主代词之后时,与单数名词连用表示“(两个中的)另一个”; 与复数名词连用表示某一集体中“其余的,剩下的(人或物)”。
another用作形容词的基本意思是“(又)另一个的”,主要指同类中又多一(个)的或与前述不同的另一个的,在句中只用作定语。another后常接单数可数名词,但当复数名词前有基数词或few时,也可用another修饰。

一、含义不同
1、other的含义是：另外；其他；(指两个人或事物中的第二个)那个，另一个；其余的，另外的

2、the other的含义是：他者；另一个；其他
例句：
The other kids had it in for me. 其他的孩子对我怀恨在心。
3、Others的含义是：其他人员
例句：
I relish the challenge of doing jobs that others turn down .我喜欢挑战别人拒绝做的工作。
4、the others的含义是：小岛惊魂；其他；其他人
例句：

5、another 的含义是： 又一； 再一； 另一(事物或人)；另一；不同的； 类似的
二、用法不同
1、other翻译成“其他的”不能做主语或者宾语，必须要加一个名词复数才可以。
2、the other 可以做代词或者形容词。能做主语或者宾语。
3、others 翻译成其他人（物），是代词，可以直接做主语或者宾语。
4、the others 相当于the other的复数形式，可以做能做主语或者宾语。
5、another的用法：做代词，直接做主语或者宾语；做形容词，another+一个单数名词，做主语或者宾语。
三、侧重点不同
1、other其他的，不是指剩下部分的全部， 相当于other+复数名词。
2、the other特制在一定范围内的其余所有的人或物。
3、others 所指的其他人并非其他所有的人，指其他部分的全部， 相当于other+复数名词。
4、the others 其余的，特指某一范围内的其他全部相当于the other的复数形式。
5、another 指三者或三者以上的人或物。
other和another的区别
other和another的区别如下：
（1）the other用于两者中的另一个，another指三者以上中的另一个：
He has two toys.One is for me,the other is for himself.
All these are not good.Show me another,please.
（2）another还有“再……”的意思，other有“另外”的含义：
Have another cup of coffee,please.再喝一杯咖啡吧！
The girl is much cleverer than other three.这女孩比另外三个都聪明。
（3）修饰数词的结构不同：数词+other+复数名词=another+数词+复数名词：
这周我多看了两本书。
I read two more books this week.=I read two more books this week.
（4）one another与each other：两者均表示“彼此”、“互相”。
一般认为，each other用于两者间，one another用于三者或以上，但在现代英语中，两者常可换用。
We should always help each other.
They don’t agree with one another.
other和another的用法：
1、不定代词other相当于名词或形容词、可以在句中作主语、宾语、定语等。相当于名词时、有复数形式others。
作主语：He has two toys.One is for me,the other is for himself.
作宾语：I have two pictures.You have seen one.Now I will show you the other.
作定语：There are other ways of helping him out of difficulty.
2、不定代词another是由an和other构成，由此可以判定它只能代替或修饰可数的单数名词，前面不再用冠词。可以在句中作主语、宾语、表语和定语。
作主语：One(girl)wanted to read,and another wanted to watch TV.
作宾语：Please give me another.
作表语：She is a fool,and her sister is another.
作定语：Would you like another cup of coffee?

another
