finish的用法

1、表示“完成”，其后接动词作宾语时，要用动名词，不能用不定式。

例句：He’s finished mending the car. 他修好了汽车。

当finish之后的动名词带有宾语时，有时可省去动名词（如果意义清楚的话）。

例句：He has finished (doing) his work. 他把工作做完了。

2、用作不及物动词，表示“结束”或“完成”。

例句：He didn’t finish in time. 他没有及时完成。

3、用过去分词作表语，表示“做完了”“结束了”“不再有联系了”。

例句：At last she was finished too. 最后她也做完了。

注意以下两个短语：

(1)finish up 吃光，用完；完成，结束。

例句：We finished up everything there was on the table. 我们把桌上的东西全吃完了。

It was midnight, and she still had not finished up. 都半夜了，可她还没干完。

(2)finish with 以??作为结束；用完，完成；与??断绝关系。

例句：What shall we have to finish the meal with? 这顿饭最后一道菜吃什么?

Have you finished with the newspaper? 报纸你不会看了吧?

Jane has finished with her new boyfriend. 简已经和她的新男友不再来往了。

finish的用法有哪几种？

finish 有三种词性:及物动词、不及物动词和名词。

一、作及物动词时后面跟doing ，即finish doing sth 。

如：I have finished doing my homework.我已经完成家庭作业了。

结束;完成[+v-ing]

示例：When does he finish his college course?

译句： 他何时大学毕业?

2. 对...最后加工,润饰[(+off)]

示例：We'll finish our new home today and move in tomorrow.

译句：我们今天对新居作最后修饰,明天就搬进去。

3. 用完;吃完[(+off/up)]

finish,complete作为动词在一起比较时，这两个词的一般含义是“做完”、“完成”，有时可以互换使用。然而，有时它们却有明显的词义差别。

finish表示过去某个时候着手做的事已经做完，或者表示对已经做完的事进行精密加工
