adjoin和adjacent有区别吗？

adjacent是形容词；adjoin是动词。

be adjacent to sth./**. 和某人/某物毗连。

adjoin可用作及物动词，直接接宾语，即adjoin **./sth.，也是“毗连某人/某物”的意思。
