教学设计：写作微技能训练之如何写出高水平

一．授课背景及内容分析

英语书面表达在高考中起着举足轻重的作用，同时，学生的英语写作能力也是学生使用语言和运用语言能力的体现，其在交际中的作用也同样是不容小觑的。然而，针对学生存在的问题，诸如只会使用平淡无奇的简单句，缺乏给文章增添亮点的技巧等现状，我打算从写作技巧之如何写出高水平的简单句入手，给学生提供一些指导和点拨，旨在培养学生提高写作能力，积累亮点词汇的意识。

二．学情分析

高三6班学生为理科实验班，整体水平不错。但是，从平时学生的习作来看，学生缺乏运用亮点句式及词汇提升写作能力的意识。而高三又处于应对高考的关键时期，提升英语写作能力也是当务之急，迫在眉睫。

三．教学目标

1. 知识目标 学生通过本节课学习能学会一些常见词汇的不同表达方式，体会不同的表达效果。

2. 能力目标 学生能够运用技巧和手法将简单句进行加工，从而增加文章的可读性。

3. 情感目标 通过对比分析，学生能够养成积累优美词句的习惯

1. 学生更够体会普通的简单句和高水平简单句的表达效果的差异所在

2. 学生能够将普通的简单句改写成高水平的简单句

五．教学难点

1. 学生如何熟练运用写作技巧将普通简单句改写成高水平的简单句。

Step 1. Lead-in

任务一：学生欣赏图片并朗读一些优美的电影台词，以励志为主

任务二：学生朗读两篇范例，并对范例的内容进行对比分析，体会第二篇中划线部分句子和词汇的妙处所在。

目的：通过对比分析，学生初步感知使用好词好句的表达效果。

如果我们可以利用好essay连接词、过渡词或短语，那么写作起来一定事半功倍。之所以需要用到这些表示过渡意义的短语，是因为：一来、可以使得essay读起来更加简单易懂，方便读者和导师的理解；二来、是因为过渡性短语有多种不同的类型和含义，使用这些短语可以起到承接上下文语义，从一个论点或话题转到另一个论点或话题，显得非常自然和顺畅的作用。

从深层次来讲，transition words可以起到连接全文，显示论文层次的作用，有利于读者更好地理解论文的结构与内容。

表示过渡意义的短语有不同的类型和含义。基本上，过渡短语可以分为三类：

· 表示比较意义的过渡性短语，常用于比较型论文。

· 表示对比的过渡性短语，用于对比性论文。

· 通用的过渡性短语。既可以用于比较，又可以用于对比。

一、表示 “比较” 的过渡短语：

首先论文的主题是对比两种不同的旅行方式：背包式和酒店住宿式。这两种方式是比较常见的两种不同的旅行形式，所以说范文选择了一个不错的主题。一个良好的主题是essay写作的基础和前提条件。选择两个易于比较的话题或事物，既可以在一定程度上降低英文论文写作的难度，而且更容易让读者理解，当然最为重要的是主题的价值性。如果你选择对比或比较的两种事物或两种情形，毫无意义或者意义不大，那么就没有探讨的必要性了。

· 对两个或两个以上的话题或事物进行研究

有些教师要求是对两个不同的话题进行对比（对比它们的不同点），有些论文只要求比较（比较它们的相似之处）。当然还有的情况是同时兼备比较和对比两种情形，既要分析不同点，又要研究相同点。范文一是典型的对两个不同的事物进行对比，分析两者的不同之处。

· 论文的结构

论文范文的结构安排是典型的分话题式的（subject by subject）的论文结构。正文的第一段是引言部分introduction，主要向我们介绍了下文中即将对比的两个话题：背包旅行和酒店住宿式旅行方式。第二段和第三段是主体段落 body部分，第二段中主要介绍了背包旅行的各个方面（主要从费用、安全性和计划的可行性三个方面进行分析），第三段主要介绍了酒店住宿式旅行的情况（依旧从费用、安全性和计划实施性角度来说明的）。最后一段为结尾段，对上述两种方式进行了最终的总结。同时，强调了作者支持的主要观点和论点—作者建议选择酒店式旅行。

综上所述，一篇好的Compare and contrast essay至少需要具备两个条件：

其一、需要选择一个易于比较的、有价值的主题。在选择话题的时候，最好不用几个明显不同或明显相似的事物或情况。一个突然被发现的微妙差异比几个众所周知的事实列表能够做出印象更为深刻，更有优秀论文的效果。

其二、根据论文需求，要安排布局好论文的主体结构，可以选择逐点式、分块式或现比较再对比式。

除此之外，一个具有吸引力的介绍、正确的语法和单词拼写同样十分重要。
