haven与harbor的区别

harbor是港口的意思，也可用作表示避难所。

haven基本上只用于上述第二个意思，也就是a place of safety, 即“避难所、安全的地方、提供有利条件/机会的地方”，类似于shelter/refuge/sanctuary。

通产来说，当用来表示避难所时，haven要更常用一些。
