We Are The World ,We Are The Future

Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.

A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. the chief problem we should face to is our atitude towards stress .people usually say they can not live in the sun except they escape from stress . it’s unwelcome ! yes , however , very necessary . just image a world where stress does not exist and people lead their life in a very comfortable way . but is this kind of living condition as perfect as we hope ? without stress , they may feel very satisfied with the current life but lack of power to discover new things . too much satisfaction result in nothing except a countermarch of the society . no stress , no development . so a certain amount of stress is good . it can stimulate us and increase our level of alertness . and our answer to stress is another vital problem . how to do with ourselves when stress suddenly break into our life ? to wave the white flag and admit our unability , to give up to our ideality , or worstly , just to ******* as to put an end to everything … of cause not . the principle is to tackle with stress gentlely and harmoniously. we should try our best to release ourselves . such as to do some exercise , to linsen to traditional chinese music or classical music to ease our minds and to learn to view these changes of life as challenges .it’s no use crying over spilt milk . only to accept what has happened can solve the problem .

When I was a primary school student I wrote in my composition that I want to be a scientist when I grow up. At that age I didn't know what is a scientist, nor did I know what is dream. I wrote it because it's a standard answer for a composition test. And I know if I wrote that I want to be a peasant I would be criticized and laughed at, no matter what reason I gave it. But now in university, one of my clas**ates changed my idea. At the career planning class when asked about our dreams, one of my clas**ates stood up and said, " I want to be a peasant because I grow up in a peasant family and I love it." No laughter, no critici**, he was the only who winned a clapping.

It sets me thinking, which should be a man's dream? a scientist, or a peasant? It's not a simple question and my answer is both. This is exactly my understanding of this topic. Dreams are something we really want and are willing to try every effort to achieve, no matter how great or how **all, no matter how others think, it depends on you.

Life is long, and we are just on the starting point. Finally we'll understand life is not just about making a living. There're something much more important than money and material enjoyment, that is spiritual wealth, that is dream. It's the process of your pursuit of dream, the process when you are trying, when you are seeking, when you are struggling, when you failed and restarted again and again with your determination, hardwork, and perseverance that make you, build you, and help you to lead a worthy and significative life, whether you'll achieve your dream or not, the result is not that important.

A Brother Like That

A friend of mine named Paul received an automobile from his brother as a Christmas present。 On Christmas Eve when Paul came out of his office， a street urchin was walking around the shiny new car， admiring it。

"Is this your car， Mister?" he said。

Paul nodded。 "My brother gave it to me for Christmas。" The boy was astounded。 "You mean your brother gave it to you and it didn’t cost you nothing? Boy， I wish 。 。 。" He hesitated。

Of course Paul knew what he was going to wish for。 He was going to wish he had a brother like that。 But what the lad said jarred Paul all the way down to his heels。

"I wish，" the boy went on， "That I could be a brother

like that。"

Paul looked at the boy in astonishment， then impulsively he added， "Would you like to take a ride in my car?"

"Oh yes， Id love that。"

After a short ride， the boy turned with his eyes aglow， said， "Mister， would you mind driving in front of my house?"

Paul **iled a little。 He thought he knew what the lad wanted。 He wanted to show his neighbors that he could ride home in a big automobile。 But Paul was wrong again。 "Will you stop where those two steps are?" the boy asked。

He ran up the steps。 Then in a little while Paul heard him ing back， but he was not ing fast。 He was carrying his little crippled brother。 He sat him down on the bottom step， then sort of squeezed up against him and pointed to the car。

"There she is， Buddy， just like I told you upstairs。 His brother gave it to him for Christmas and it didn’t cost him a cent。 And some day Im gonna give you one just like it 。 。 。 then you can see for yourself all the pretty things in the Christmas windows that Ive been trying to tell you about。"

Paul got out and lifted the lad to the front seat of his car。 The shining-eyed older brother climbed in beside him and the three of them began a memorable holiday ride。 That Christmas Eve， Paul learned what Jesus meant when he said: "It is more blessed to give 。 。 。 "

保罗微笑，他明白孩子想干什么。那男孩必定是要向邻居炫耀，让大家明白他坐了一部大轿车回家。但是这次保罗又猜错了。"你能不能把车子停在那两个台阶前?"男孩要求道。

男孩跑上了阶梯，过了一会儿保罗听到他回来了，但动作似乎有些缓慢。原先把他跛脚的弟弟带出来了，将他安置在第一个台阶上，紧紧地抱着他，指着那辆新车。

只听那男孩告诉弟弟："你看，这就是我刚才在楼上对你说的那辆新车。这是保罗他哥哥送给他的哦!将来我也会送给你一辆像这样的车，到那时候你就能自我去看那些在圣诞节时，挂窗口上的漂亮饰品了，就象我告诉过你的那样。"

保罗走下车子，把跛脚男孩抱到车子的前座。兴奋得满眼放光的哥哥也爬上车子，坐在弟弟的身旁。就这样他们三人开始一次令人难忘的假日兜风。

Even if my English is very bad, my teacher stll encourages me to learn English hard and he gives me some ways to learn English. He tells me to read passages loudly and listen to the English tapes everyday morning.In order to progress my writing he also asks me to write some articles at times. I like listen to the English songs,he suggests me to sing the English songs.As a result of his ways my English becomes well.

Now, I like English very well and I still use the ways he tells me.I know I must learn English even hard.

If you think the god havent blessed you and there is no truth here, you can become the god and create the truth.

"My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains." At some time in the past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Each achievement results from my hard work. I always believe that "If you want to have more achievements than others, you must work harder." In some extent, the dream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory will come.

There is a couple who forsaked the comfortable life in the city ,instead， went to the plateau to take care of hundreds of orphans,even though thEir old parents should be taken care of.

There is also a teenager who perfomed piano in the golden hall of Vienna just with his feet .Although he doesn’t have arms,his perfomance has got to every audience.

These people are awarded “the top ten people who touched china in 2012”.Some of them are just ordinary people in our life without too much money,too much fame,even without a suitable redisence.

Why ,why can they touch china?why can they keep the purpose of their lives?

While I was watching their stories, Tears flowed down unconsciously,a warm and powerful feeling raisedfrom the deep of my heart,which drives out all my fears,troubles and trifles that always obsessed me. From these people,I have seen the misery but also the hope;the torture but also the strength ;the unfortune but also the unyielding.Yes ,it is anenergy ,the power of positive energy,thatgives us courage when we are so fearful; that delivers hope when we are so desperate; that creats momentum when we may slack off.

We are so lucky to witness a historical moment full of choices and opportunities together with more competitions ,more pressure as well.The fast-paced life has lead to chronic stress and other negative effects on our health and well being.Never before have we needed some substance to give us confidence;never before have we needeed some inspiration to drive us ahead on for our dreams;never before have we needed some energy to keep us loyal to the purpose of our lives.We should gain positive energy from everything we meet which can touch us deeply.No matter what it is ,who they are.Maybe it is a newborn baby;maybe it is a spider struggling to spin its web in the storm.

Let us to be a person full of positive energy ,it is not only for ourselves,but also to make the world a betterplace for us to live.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m very happy to be making a speech here. Today my topic is “Tomorrow will be better. ”

China born and China bred, I love China very much. I’m proud that I have got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world——Chinese. When I heard that China, our motherland, would have a chance to hold the 2008 Olympic Games, I felt very happy and excited, and I hoped I could do something useful to build China into a beautiful and energetic country.

In the 21st century, the environment is becoming more and more important, so we have "Green Olympic" as a slogan. Of course a slogan is just a goal. The most important thing is that we should do some things to make it true. Such as sorting the trash, saving the energy and so on. We are still students now, so we can't do anything really big, but if everybody does something good for our environment, we could make our motherland more beautiful.

In fact, the things we can do are easy. Like not littering used batteries everywhere, sorting the trash that we want to throw away, and also protecting the animals and plants around us.

Luckily, I had a chance to take part in an activity, that is, we planted 5 trees everybody in our campus. My clas**ates and I worked very hard. This activity is not only about planting trees, but also contributing to our environment. Look at the trees, I believe, tomorrow there will be more trees and flowers standing in our campus and giving Chinese people a beautiful environment.

We are all Chinese people, living on the earth. We have only one motherland——China, just like we have only one earth. If we don't beautify our environment, who will? Good environment depends on good human consciousness. We should say that protecting our surroundings is not easy, that's why I'm standing here to summon people do it.

If we do this from the bottom of our hearts tomorrow, China will be more brilliant, it will have blue skies, white clouds and cleaner rivers. Who doesn't want China to become more and more beautiful? If we do our best, tomorrow will be better!
