cite的ing形式要去e吗？

cite的-ing形式是要去掉e的。

现在分词的构成一般是由动词原形加上-ing构成，但有时它的拼写会发生一些变化。

以不发音的e结尾的动词，要去掉这个e加-ing。如果e前面是元音字母，我们倾向于把这个e保留，但是u后的e不发音，还是要去掉e加-ing。

如果动词是以重读闭音节结尾的，末尾只有一个辅音字母时，我们则需要把这个辅音字母双写后再加上-ing。
