“within”等于什么

within有三种词性,介词和副词用得比较多,应该是相当于inside,inside也有这三种词性

within的意思是：

within相似短语是：within sight but not within reach 可望而不可及、from within 从内部,从里面within doors adv.在屋内。

within sight of 在…视线之内,看见、within touch of 在…能到达的地方、be within the odds 可能fall within 在…之内,属于…范畴。

within measure adv.适当地,适度、within the boundary of 在…范围内、within the extent of 在…范围内。

within和in的区别是：

一般而言， within和in是差不多的意思，都是表示在...内，比如drive a change in/within your organization(在你的公司内推动变革)。

同样的还有, make some difference in/within our product（我们的产品上做一些创新）, 意思没区别，只不过within比in更加强调在...范围内，比如within the tolerance(在公差范围内），当然用in也是没问题的，只是语气弱一点。

但例外的是，在表达时间方面，这两个词就是完全不同的意思，in（...之后）和within a week（...之内）是完全相反的。

比如你想回复客户，我们三天之内寄出，按照习惯性思维会说 We'll ship it in 3 days. 而老外的理解就是三天之后，肯定会不高兴。

而如果告诉客户货物会在一个月之后达到，就可以说 It'll arrive in a month，如果是一个月内到达，就要说成within a month。
