allow 和 allowed的用法?

       allow常用于allow ** to do sth结构,意思是”允许某人做某事”,后面可接动名词作宾语;意为“让······得到、同意给予”时,后面接双宾语;意为“承认”时,后面可跟从句,也可跟“to be”作复合宾语;allow for意思是“考虑到、体谅”;还可与out、in及up等副词搭配。allowed为allow的过去式。
