CONCLUSIONS
A
modified
lifting
algorithm
for
the
(6,lO)
wavelet
filters,
as
well
as
the
fast
VLSI
architectures,
have
been
proposed,
in
which
paralleli**

arithmetic
operations
in
each
lifting
step

exploited,
and
a
retiming
technique
is
employed
to
optimize
