相同点：都有“会议”“**”的意思。

不同点：assemblies多指一个通常有许多人参加、计划好的，为某一特殊目的而召集的会议。party指社交性或娱乐性的**。

【用法区别】

assemblies的基本意思是“**,**”,指有计划的且参加人数较多的大型正式的会议、**,尤指为了某种目的而举行的**,也可指参加“**的人们”。

party的基本意思是“**”,指社交性的或娱乐性的**,是可数名词。
