relegate这个单词我从词根上理解意思很无力啊，请高手指教re+leg+ate，leg是法律的词根，怎么能联系到它
词根 lect =choose gather 在使用中常- leg，因为c与g通假，你读几遍，发c，g嘴型都不需要变的。 (例如 elegant)；
re- 有往回的意思（如retreat）；
-ate动作后缀；
所以合起来就是 “选择回去的对象” ，即使它降级。
其实自己找到合理的自己能理解的逻辑就可以了，以后见的多了也许就会有更精确的理解。
