cause的用法：

cause用作动词时，有两大主要意思：

cause表示“造成”或者“使(发生)”的意思时，有如下搭配。

cause的三种用法
cause有两种用法，一是用作动词，表示“使发生；造成；引起；导致”的意思，二是用作名词，表示“原因；起因；理由；动机；缘故；诉讼案”的意思。
cause用作动词：cause在用作动词时，只能用作及物动词，其后不可接宾语和形容词，如it caused me happy是错误的，需在happy前加上to be，不过cause后可接双宾语。
