Today is my first day at school. I was very nervous when I woke up this morning. I got dressed and had breakfast quickly. My mom took me to school. When we arrived, I saw many kids playing and laughing. I felt a little bit scared, but also excited.

My teacher is very nice. She introduced herself and asked us to introduce ourselves. I said, "My name is Sarah. I am six years old. I like to draw and play with my dolls." After that, we did some activities like coloring and singing songs.

During lunchtime, I sat with some new friends. They were also in my class. We talked about our favorite foods and toys. I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which is my favorite.

In the afternoon, we learned some letters and numbers. I already knew some of them, but it was still fun to practice. I also played on the playground with my new friends. We went on the swings and the slide.
