小学三年级英语日记:My First Day of School
Today is the first day of school. I was very excited to go to school for the first time. I woke up early in the morning and had my breakfast. My mom helped me to get dressed and pack my bag. She also gave me a kiss on my forehead and wished me good luck.

When I reached the school, I saw many children like me. Some of them were crying, some were laughing, and some were playing. I felt a little nervous, but I tried to be brave. My teacher came and introduced herself to us. Her name is Miss Sarah. She was very kind and friendly. She asked us to sit in a circle and introduced ourselves one by one. We had to tell our name, age, and something about ourselves. I said, "My name is Lily. I am six years old. I like to play with dolls and read storybooks."
After the introduction, Miss Sarah taught us some new words. We learned the names of different colors and animals. We also learned how to say "hello" and "goodbye" in English. Miss Sarah made us practice saying these words again and again until we got them right.
In the next class, we learned about numbers. Miss Sarah showed us different objects and asked us to count them. We also learned how to write numbers from one to ten. I enjoyed this class very much as I like numbers.
During the break time, I made some new friends. Their names are Tom, Jack, and Emily. We played together and shared our snacks. We also talked about our favorite things. Tom likes to play football, Jack likes to draw, and Emily likes to dance.
In the last class, we learned a poem. Miss Sarah recited the poem, and we repeated after her. We also learned how to sing a song. The song was very catchy, and we all enjoyed singing it.
