describe的名词形式有三种。

一、describer

n. 描写者；制图者

depict的基本意思是“表现一个形象”或“栩栩如生地再现”，即“描绘”，指给物体着色或素描某一物体。不仅强调所采用的艺术形式，更强调轮廓鲜明。借用在文学上表示“描写”“描述”，强调外表、形象、色彩等具体细节。

depict主要用于绘画，所以其后不能接picture等词。

depict只用作及物动词，可接由名词或代词充当的简单宾语，也可接由动名词或as短语充当补足语的复合宾语。

depict表示的是“画……的图”，而不单指“画图”。所以depict a dog表示“画狗的图”，而表“画一张图，图的内容是狗”时，决不可用depict a picture of a dog来表示。

describe的名词和形容词

名词：description意思是描述；形容；种类；类型。形容词：describable意思是可描述的，可叙述的。英语有不少动词可以转化为具有相同动词意义的名词，当它们和一定的动词搭配成动词词组时，可以表示一次性的动作。
