respectively的用法

respectively 的词义是“按次序排列地”、“一个一个地”；中文翻译的解释“分别地”是按中文习惯译的。

比较好的说法是 A and B are provided with a groove each, respectively.

比如 Books, videos and food，是这个意思吧？be 用复数：

Books, videos and food are distributed to three different groups of students for their needs, respectively.

只要主语是由两个以上不同的事物组成（不能归为一类的），谓语动词都用复数，无论组成主语的这些名词是可数还是不可数。
