Day 3: Rainy Day
Today is a rainy day. I woke up to the sound of raindrops tapping on my window. I felt cozy and warm in my bed, but I had to get up and go to school. The rain was pouring down heavily outside, and I had to use an umbrella to keep myself dry. The streets were wet and slippery, and I had to be careful not to slip and fall.
Day 7: Movie Night
Tonight, I went to the cinema with my friends. We watched a Hollywood blockbuster movie, which was very exciting and full of action. The movie was in English, with Chinese subtitles. I tried my best to understand the dialogue and follow the plot, but some of the jokes and puns went over my head. After the movie, we talked about our favorite scenes and characters, and I realized that watching movies in English is a great way to improve my listening and comprehension skills.

Day 14: Family Dinner
Today is my grandma's birthday, and we had a big family dinner to celebrate. We ate lots of delicious food, including dumplings, noodles, and roast duck. My grandma looked very happy and proud, and she told us stories about her youth and her experiences during the Cultural Revolution. I tried to listen carefully and ask questions, but sometimes I had trouble understanding her accent and vocabulary. Nevertheless, I felt grateful to have such a loving and supportive family.
Day 21: Sports Day
Today is the school's sports day, and I participated in several events, including running, jumping, and throwing. I felt nervous and excited at the same time, and I tried my best to perform well. Although I didn't win any medals, I felt proud of myself for trying my best and pushing my limits. I also talked to some foreign exchange students from Australia and Canada, and we exchanged our opinions about sports and culture.
Day 30: Reflections
Today is the last day of my thirty-day English diary challenge. Looking back at my entries, I can see that my writing has improved a lot, both in terms of grammar and vocabulary. I have also learned many new words and phrases, and I feel more confident in expressing myself in English. However, I know that there is still a long way to go, and I need to keep practicing and learning. I am grateful for this experience, and I hope to continue writing and improving my English skills in the future.
