新世纪福音战士英文介绍
Neon Genesis Evangelion
At the turn of the millennium the inhabitants of Earth are nearly completely wiped out by a mysterious supposed meteorite strike on Antarctica. Roughly half the population dies as a direct result of the strike, and the rest are left to struggle for survival amidst the rising savage seas due to melting of the polar ice caps.
Now the year is 2015. As the remnants of the human race cower in subterranean cities, a deadly war is being waged for what is left of the planet, and for what lies there within. On one side are the mysterious alien beings known only as the Angels, on the other, the special agency NERV and mankind's last hope for survival; the awe-inspiring Evangelions.
Yet amongst the ongoing devastation, few weary individuals at NERV struggle to uncover and piece together the agency's long buried secrets and hidden agendas along with the mysteries surrounding the arrival of the Angels. Why was the Earth struck fifteen years ago? A mere simple unfortunate act of nature, or perhaps an act of vengeance instigated by beings more powerful than man. Why did NERV classify the Angel responsible for the first attack on Tokyo-3 as the third, not the first? And just why are the only qualified Eva pilots that of children born exactly nine months after the second impact that massacred over half the human race?

跪求介绍Super Junior的英文作文。
I love Super Junior for a long time. Super Junior is a boy band and entertainment group under SM Entertainment. With 13 members, it is the largest boy band in the world, with members specialising in a variety of different talents. Originally created as "the gateway to success in Asia", Super Junior is popular throughout the region and has won a number of awards, including Favorite Artist Korea at the MTV Asia Awards - after jtL, only the second singing group to win the esteemed award. Their Chinese offshoot, Super Junior - M, was also the first foreign group to win Best Mainland Group at the Chinese Tencent Stars Magnificent Ceremony awards.
Super Junior's music has been proven to be marketable to a wide variety of audiences. Additionally, their success over a wide variety of areas, including but not limited to acting and hosting, has inspired other talent agencies to train their own artists in multiple skills.
Unlike most boy bands, which feature on debut members with little to no experience, Super Junior was created from a group of people with different types of experience, different backgrounds. When the band was founded as a 12-member group in 2005, most of the members had prior experience as actors, radio hosts, or models. Debuting in late 2005, the members of Super Junior, at the time called Super Junior 05, displayed their talents in these areas as well as in singing and dancing. Their first album, TWINS (Knock Out), was a moderate success, but it wasn't until 2006 that the group's major success began.
Originally, Super Junior was slated to be a rotational group, similar to Japanese girlpop sensation Morning Musume. However, the members of Super Junior 05 quickly became so popular with fans that the idea was shelved amidst plans for Super Junior 06. A thirteenth member, Kyuhyun, was added, and, now finalised, Super Junior released their first physical single, U, which sold over 80,000 copies in the six month period that followed. Although the latter half of 2006 and the early part of 2007 was quiet for the group as a whole, with various members participating in individual activities, their popularity continued to grow.
Around this time, sub-groups were formed to showcase different musical styles and target different audiences. Super Junior-K.R.Y. displayed the vocal talents of select members through powerful ballads and Super Junior-T focused on bringing popularity back to the trot genre.
The group's comeback with a second album was also being planned, although these plans had to be shelved when five of the members were injured in two separate car accidents in August 2006 and April 2007. As a result, the second album, Don't Don, wasn't released until September 2007. Compared to the almost 30,000 copies TWINS (Knock Out) sold in its first month of release, 60,000 copies of Don't Don sold by the end of the first week, selling well over 160,000 copies within three months to become the second best-selling album of the year.
A month after the album's release, a new subgroup, Super Junior-M, was announced, featuring five members of the original group as well as newcomers Henry and Zhou Mi. Amongst controversy, the group debuted, with fourth subgroup Super Junior-Happy created to continue activities in Korea in the absence of these members. 2008 focused around activities by these groups, although Super Junior-T made a **all comeback in the form of a Japanese-language release of their single Rokkugeo!!!.
Super Junior's third album, Sorry, Sorry was released in March of 2009, with over 150,000 copies preordered within a week of being made available, and sold a further 29,000 copies on the first day of release, beating Seo Taiji's previous record of 25,000.
With the main group going from strength to strength in the homeland, it has been hinted that subgroup Super Junior-M will also release their second album in the later part of 2009.
Super Junior is back, now sporting a sexy, mature image. After two years of waiting, 13 member boyband Super Junior finally release their second album.
While they have been aiming to dispel some of this critici** with live performances and genre-focused subgroups, Super Junior told fans from the beginning that Vol. 3 was to be the album that finally cemented the group's image, showing a more mature side of the members. In fact, before the album's release, the group released a statement asking people to ignore the stereotypes of the past and to listen for themselves before judging.

长城 Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China (simplified Chinese: 长城; traditional Chinese: 长城; pinyin: Chángchéng; literally "long city/fortress") or (simplified Chinese: 万里长城; traditional Chinese: 万里长城; pinyin: Wànlǐ Chángchéng; literally "The long wall of 10,000 Li (里)") is a series of stone and earthen fortifications in China, built, rebuilt, and maintained between the 5th century BC and the 16th century to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire from Xiongnu attacks during the rule of successive dynasties. Several walls, referred to as the Great Wall of China, were built since the 5th century BC. One of the most famous is the wall built between 220–206 BC by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang; little of it remains; it was much farther north than the current wall, which was built during the Ming Dynasty.
The Great Wall stretches over approximately 6,400 km (4,000 miles) from Shanhaiguan in the east to Lop Nur in the west, along an arc that roughly delineates the southern edge of Inner Mongolia, but stretches to over 6,700 km (4,160 miles) in total. At its peak, the Ming Wall was guarded by more than one million men. It has been estimated that somewhere in the range of 2 to 3 million Chinese died as part of the centuries-long project of building the wall.

故宫 Forbidden City
The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. For almost five centuries, it served as the home of the Emperor and his household, as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government.
Built from 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 surviving buildings with 8,707 bays of rooms and covers 720,000 square metres (7,800,000 square feet). The palace complex exemplifies traditional Chinese palatial architecture, and has influenced cultural and architectural developments in East Asia and elsewhere. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987, and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.
Since 1925, the Forbidden City has been under the charge of the Palace Museum, whose extensive collection of artwork and artefacts were built upon the imperial collections of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Part of the museum's former collection is now located in the National Palace Museum in Taipei. Both museums descend from the same institution, but were split after the Chinese Civil War.

中国茶 Chinese tea
In China, the Chinese drink tea at every meal for good health and simple pleasure. Chinese tea consists of tea leaves which have been processed using methods inherited from China. According to popular legend, tea was discovered by Chinese Emperor Shennong in 2737 BCE when a leaf from a Camellia sinensis tree fell into water the emperor was boiling. Tea is deeply woven into the history and culture of China. The beverage is considered one of the seven necessities of Chinese life, along with firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce[clarification needed] and vinegar.
Some writers classify tea into four categories, white, green, oolong and black. Others add categories for red, scented and compressed teas. All of these come from varieties of the Camellia sinensis plant. Chinese flower tea (花茶), while popular, is not a true tea. Most Chinese tea is consumed in China and is not exported. Green tea is the most popular type of tea used in China.
Within these main categories of tea are vast varieties of individual beverages. Some researchers have counted more than 700. Others put the number at more than 1,000. Some of the variations are due to different strains of the Camilla plant. The popular Tie Guan Yin 铁观音, for example, is traced back to a single plant discovered in Anxi 安溪 in the Fujian province. Other teas draw some of their characteristics from local growing conditions. The largest factor in the wide variations comes from differences in processing after the tea is harvested. White and green teas are cooked soon after picking to prevent oxidization, often called fermentation, caused by natural enzymes in the leaves. Oolong teas are partially oxidized. Black and red teas are fully oxidized. Other differences come from variations in the processing steps.

纸的发明 The Invention of Paper
Papermaking is considered to be one of the Four Great Inventions of Ancient China, since the first papermaking process was developed in China during the early 2nd century CE by the Han court eunuch Cai Lun. China used paper as an effective and cheap alternative to silk, letting them sell more silk, leading to a Golden Age. The use of paper spread from China through the Islamic world, and entered production in Europe in the early 12th century. Mechanized production of paper in the early 19th century caused significant cultural changes worldwide, allowing for relatively cheap exchange of information in the form of letters, newspapers and books for the first time.

秦始皇 Emperor Qin Shi Huang
Qin Shi Huang (Chinese: 秦始皇; pinyin: Qín Shǐhuáng; Wade-Giles: Ch'in Shih-huang) (259 BCE – 210 BCE), personal name Ying Zheng (Chinese: 嬴政; pinyin: Yíng Zhèng), was king of the Chinese State of Qin from 246 BC to 221 BC during the Warring States Period. He became the first emperor of a unified China in 221 BC. He ruled until his death in 210 BCE at the age of 50.
Qin Shi Huangdi remains a controversial figure in Chinese history. After unifying China, he and his chief adviser Li Si passed a series of major economic and political reforms. He undertook gigantic projects, including the first version of the Great Wall of China, the now famous city-sized mausoleum guarded by a life-sized Terracotta Army, and a massive national road system, all at the expense of many lives. To ensure stability, Qin Shi Huang outlawed Confuciani** and buried many scholars alive. All books other than those officially decreed were banned and burned in what is known as the great Confucian purge. Despite the tyranny of his autocratic rule, Qin Shi Huang is regarded as a pivotal figure.

青铜器 Bronze Ware
The bronze ware were unique national treasures for China in ancient times for their impressive designs, classical decorative ornamentation, and wealth of inscriptions.
The ancient Chinese society fell into the Stone Tool Age and the Iron Tool Age. The earliest stoneware in China was found in 3000 B.C. The Shang and Zhou dynasties ushered China into the height of the Bronze Age. During this period the making of bronze ware reached its zenith. After the Spring and Autumn and WarringStates periods China entered the Iron Tool Age.
Bronze is the alloy of copper and zinc or copper and lead that is bluish grey. The museums across China and some important museum outside China, have all collected Chinese bronze ware dating back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties. Some of them are part of the cultural heritage passed down through the generations, but most of them were dug up from underneath the earth.
Ancient Chinese bronze ware fall into three types: ritual vessels, weapons, and miscellaneous objects.
Ritual vessels refer to those objects employed by aristocrats in sacrificial ceremonies or audiences. Therefore there is something distinctively religious and shamanist about them. These vessels include food containers, wine vessels, water pots and musical instruments.
Bronze weapons come in such varieties as knife, sword, spear, halberd, axe, and dagger.
The miscellaneous objects refer to bronze utensils for daily use.
In ancient China the making of bronze ware was dominated by the imperial families and aristocrats. And the possession of such wares was regarded as a status symbol.
In comparison with counterparts in other parts of the world, the Chinese bronze ware stand out for their inscriptions which are regarded as major chapters in the Chinese history.

Later that night, disturbed mental patient Isabel Dodson commits *******, provoking the sorrow and di**elief of her twin sister, L.A.P.D. Detective Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz). Visiting the hospital where Isabel died, Angela encounters Constantine, who is being treated at the same hospital for his terminal lung cancer, a result of his decades-long chain-**oking habit. Disgusted with the prognosis, Constantine visits a nearby church to speak with the angel Gabriel (Tilda Swinton), angrily asking what more he must do to earn God's forgiveness. Unsympathetic to Constantine's plight, Gabriel rebuffs his attempts at reconciling with God, pointing out the selfish undertones beneath his good deeds. Meanwhile at the same church, Angela begs the Cardinal to allow Isabel a church-sanctioned funeral, which the Cardinal refuses, pointing out the Catholic rules regarding *******s.
Angela's investigation leads her back to Constantine, and she asks his advice on how the devoutly Catholic Isabel could be convinced to take her own life. At first, he di**isses the event as a simple result of mental illness, and she angrily leaves. As she exits his home, Constantine sees that demons are chasing Angela, and he hurries after her. Forced to rapidly explain himself, Constantine reveals Earth as a neutral realm between Heaven and Hell where God and Satan wagered on who could win the most souls among humans, which would one day lead to either the ultimate salvation or damnation of Earth, depending on the numbers. Though direct intervention by angels or demons is prohibited, 'half-breeds,' humans with mixed angelic or demonic ancestry, are able to provide influence. Angela di**isses him as delusional, until the demons attack and he fends them off. Afterwards, Constantine reveals he was born with the ability to detect these beings (both holy and demonic). Led to believe he was insane, and finding treatment unhelpful, he committed ******* to escape the torment, allowing him a time in Hell before he was resuscitated by doctors. Now certain to go to Hell when he does die, Constantine battles their forces on Earth in an attempt to win God's favor, enraging Satan, who now harbors a personal grudge against Constantine.
Constantine discovers that Angela and her sister were psychics, a power repressed by Angela as she grew older. She undergoes a reawakening with Constantine's help. She then leads Constantine across the city to Balthazar, a demon half-breed conspiring with Satan's son Mammon to conquer Earth. Mammon, after first possessing a psychic human, can only fully cross over into Earth with divine assistance, notably the Spear of Destiny, encrusted with the blood of Jesus Christ, God's only son. After defeating Balthazar, the two attempt to escape, but Angela is kidnapped by an unseen force. Constantine pursues her to the hospital, where inside, the man from Mexico arrives with the Spear of Destiny and helps Mammon possess Angela. Constantine and his apprentice, Chas Kramer (Shia LaBeouf) struggle to repress Mammon in Angela's body and are almost successful, until the same unseen force that kidnapped Angela reappears, and kills Chas. Constantine conducts a spell to reveal the hidden force, the considerable effort involved weakening him, and as Constantine lays beaten he sees that it is Gabriel. Gabriel, bitter over the effortless salvation gifted to humans by God, vows to infect Earth with Hell, declaring that humans only deserve salvation when they are truly noble or heroic, and that only happens beneath adversity and horror, which he will provide.
As Gabriel prepares to release Mammon, Constantine prays to God for intervention, but has no luck; out of options, he kills himself by cutting his wrists, knowing his death will bring Satan (Peter Stormare) to personally collect his soul. At the moment of Constantine's death, time stops, and Satan appears. At first giddy with excitement, Satan is angered to learn of Mammon's plot, which he initially doesn't believe. Finally convinced his son is breaking God's laws, he stops the ritual, using his greater power to return Mammon to Hell. Gabriel, whose acts have put him outside God's grace, is now powerless, so Satan burns his wings off, making him human. Satan returns to Constantine and asks what reward he expects, to which Constantine asks that Isabel's soul be released to Heaven. Satan begrudgingly complies and begins dragging Constantine to Hell, only to be interrupted by the Divine Light, which accepts Constantine into Heaven amidst his selfless sacrifice. Witnessing the escape of his reviled enemy, an enraged Satan rips the cancer from Constantine's lungs, resurrecting him for the further opportunity to condemn himself to Hell, before disappearing. Constantine pulls himself back to his feet, amazed that he is still alive, and joins a newly awakened Angela. As they speak, Constantine pulls the Spear of Destiny from the floor, and the now-human Gabriel emerges from the pool. He offers Constantine the option of exacting his revenge, only to have Constantine punch him in the face to make him realize the pain of being human.
Later that night atop the hospital's roof, Constantine offers Angela the Spear of Destiny. As she leaves him to the solitary Los Angeles skyline, Constantine, now in full possession of his fate, begins chewing nicotine gum to help him quit **oking.
At the end of the film's credits, Constantine visits Chas's grave, leaving his cigarette lighter atop the grave. As Constantine turns to leave, Chas appears as an angel, and flies silently into the sky, leaving behind a **iling Constantine.
