菲律宾的现任总统是贝尼尼奥·西米恩·阿基诺三世（Benigno S. Aquino III）。

简介

菲律宾自立国以来，虽然几经多次国家组成

菲律宾已故总统阿基诺夫人

的转变，但从第一位总统以来，一直保持连续及单一的承传。现任的诺诺·阿基诺，被认为是菲律宾立国以来的第15任总统。

根据菲律宾1987年的宪法，总统候选人必须年满40，出生时已是菲律宾的公民，并在选举前10年通常在菲律宾居住。

虽然菲律宾人认为埃米利奥·F·阿奎纳多是他们的第一任总统，但阿奎纳多在世界社会并未获得广泛承认，原因是当时国际社会普遍认为菲美战争后的第一共和受到美国操控，而阿奎纳多只是一位被委任的总统，而非透过选举产生的总统。相反，曼努埃尔·奎松却是透过选举产生的总统，得到国际外交及政界的普遍认同。
